Our History

Bryant Wharton was founded and incorporated in the State of Georgia in 1988 as Group and Executive Benefits, Inc by Todd Bryant.  In 1997, Bruce Wharton joined the firm and the company name was changed to Bryant Wharton.

Over the past twenty years, Bryant Wharton has grown to become a full services brokerage and consulting firm as evidenced by the addition of several additional resources including property and casualty services, a licensed nurse to assist with wellness programs, retirement planning services, and an in-house customer service team to handle employee and client inquiries.

Bryant Wharton clients continually benefit from the expertise and solid relationships the firm has built with every major insurance vendor in the employee benefits and property and casualty arena.  Several national vendors have recognized the firm for its outstanding service and commitment to its clients including both United Healthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Bryant Wharton joined Ascension Insurance, Inc. in January of 2008. Ascension is a premier group of insurance agents offering superior risk management and benefits consulting services. In June of 2009 Haas & Dodd also joined the Ascension group and now does business as Bryant Wharton.
